After living in Chicago for 13 years my dad was transferred to Dallas in 1969, and I moved to Texas with my parents and five siblings. I graduated from DeSoto High School (just south of Dallas) in 1974 and enlisted in the US Navy in ‘75. After Boot Camp, I attended the Armed Forces Air Intelligence Training Center in Denver CO and graduated as an Intelligence Specialist, spending the next 4 years stationed on an aircraft carrier (primarily in the Mediterranean Sea).
In 1979, I was honorably discharged from the Navy and began working for J.C. Penney Company as a mechanic while attending The University of Texas at Arlington. After earning my BBA in Accounting, I went to work for a small CPA firm in Fort Worth. I became a Certified Public Accountant in 1992 and that same year started as Controller for a water filter manufacturing company in Arlington.
In 2005 my wife Debbie and I moved to The Tower in Downtown Fort Worth. (And are never leaving!) We have condos on the 28th and 34th floors. (You will see photos looking East, North and West.)
Always interested in photography, I was able to utilize the ship’s photo lab while in the Navy and bought an SLR for my travels. In 2005 I purchased my first good digital SLR. Since then I have purchased a variety of high end pieces of photo gear, and have been very active in taking photos in and around Downtown Fort Worth.
